Chrysocolla is from the copper mineral family. Other well known minerals in this group include azurite and malachite. Drusy Chrysocolla is an unusual crystalline form of Chrysocolla with hundreds or sometimes thousands of minute, shimmering crystals. These are tiny quartz crystals included with chrysocolla or mixed together. The effect is fantastic, like sparkling blue ice! Pendant #196 is also has botroydial chrysocolla, round crystals, another rarity.
