Deposits of beautiful rose quartz
occur in Brazil and in the Austrian Alps, in the Ural mountains in Russia,
in Madagascar and S.W. Africa. Although it is not a rare mineral, the occurrence
of Rose Quartz in crystal form is seldom seen anywhere outside Brazil.

The average size of each rose quartz specimen ranges from 10 - 25 millimeters.
