Natural Vanadinite Crystal Specimens from Morocco. Vanadinite specimens have a combination of fiery Orange Red colored crystals with multiple faces and a naturally occurring lacquer finish. Vanadinite was first discovered in Mexico, and is usually found in the form of hexagonal crystals. It is an uncommon mineral, formed by the oxidation of lead ore deposits. Vanadinite is often found in association with galena. Other associated minerals include wulfenite, limonite, and barite.
