Psilomelane is a term given to many unidentifiable black and dark grey masses made up of manganese oxides. The New Mexico Psilomelane is associated with quartz drusy, making it a spectacular semi precious gem stone. The cabochons are shaped into freeforms and polished on the back and sides for setting.
