Indonesia has the largest deposit of petrified wood in the world, larger than Brazil, Arizona or even China. Indonesian Petrified Wood is from ancient teak (hardwood) trees that turned to stone. The petrified wood is from trees approximately twenty million years old. Minerals present in the mud and water prior to and during the petrification process leached into the wood giving it color.

We are now offering this Fossil Wood direct from Indonesia by the container only. Wholesale by the container. A container can hold 18 tons of petrified wood polished in wood boxes. In rough form a container holds 20 tons packed in nylon bags ranging in size from 500 grams to 5 tons, one solid piece. We can do sizing for you also. Big or small no problem, depending on your uses for the material. Colors range from black, white, brown, yellow, pink edges, mainly all black, black and white or brown, sometimes all 3.
