Aquamarine Crystal Ganesh

To make detailled three dimensional carvings from Aquamarine we need high quality, large clean pieces of Aquamarine rough. The reason there are not so many aquamarine carvings of this caliber is because this rough is extremely difficult to find. Minesites for Aquamarine are found in the U.S.A., Asia, & South America. Some of the best Aquamarine is from Gilgit, Pakistan where the aqua for this carving was unearthed. The rough stone was then carefully carved by skilled artisans in Bali working together with a jewelry designer from Chiapas, Mexico. Up to two thirds of the original raw aquamarine was lost in the carving process to create this one-of-a-kind work of art!
